Short films are my favorite. And I was able to cover a topic that was important to me. I feel like because of that I've grown a lot from last year.
My film was about how some people truly can't deal with constantly working on school: studying, staying awake in class, and passing test/finals. There are people who have completely given up on trying to make it through school. I tried to show that more than really say it. To understand the film you have to feel for it. He's a teenager, listening to music, walking down the street alone. He's dealing with school alone, there's no one else that could help him other than himself. He has friends and family who care enough for him, but that's not always going to give someone an "A." My film is a tad confusing but it's just something you have to be going through to understand.
